Spring and fall check-ups on a published fifteen-point cooling list and thirteen-point heating list, plus service agreements that pay for themselves in a season.

Chapter 01

What a spring and fall check-up actually covers

Priority Design & Service has run these visits the same way since 1999, out of the Selma office on Jordan Road under Texas license TACLB018551E. A cooling check in the spring and a heating check in the fall are built to catch a small failure before it turns into an emergency call, and every technician working a home in San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo or anywhere else in the service area follows the same fifteen points on the cooling side and the same thirteen on the heating side.

That list is published in full below, not summarized into three bullet points the way most companies do it. Refrigerant charge and operating pressures, voltage and amperage to the compressor, superheat and sub-cooling levels, capacitor and contactor condition on the cooling visit. Heat exchanger cracks, gas leaks, flue pipe, electronic ignition, manifold pressure and a carbon monoxide test on the heating visit. If a technician tells you the system checked out fine, this is what they actually checked to be able to say so.

Call (210) 492-4426 to get on the schedule before the first hot week or the first cold front of the year hits. The office runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend visits by appointment.

Why coil condition costs you BTUHs

Priority Design & Service frames it plainly on their own paperwork: run a comfort system for years without maintenance and the smaller parts fail first, then take the bigger, more expensive components down with them. A dirty or damaged coil is the clearest example. It does not just look bad, it robs the system of the BTUHs it was designed to move, so the unit runs longer and harder to hit the same temperature and the utility bill climbs before anything actually breaks.

That is the whole argument for catching a problem at the check-up instead of at the breakdown call, and it matches what customers in Selma and San Antonio actually say about the crew. One reviewer who has used the company for more than thirty years wrote that Matt Carson laid out every option honestly, with no upselling and no manufactured incentives, and named technicians Darrin and Alan directly for being prompt, hardworking and professional on the job.

TACLB018551E is the license number on that paperwork and on the shop door in Selma, and it covers every residential visit across the service area, from Cibolo and Garden Ridge to Universal City and Live Oak.

Chapter 03

What the service agreement changes

A Residential Service Agreement changes the shape of the relationship, not just the price of one visit. Two check-ups a year get scheduled for you, event calls get priority response ahead of one-time customers, and repairs carried out under an active agreement come with fifteen percent off and a two-year guarantee on the work.

Trip charges are waived on service calls under the agreement, there is never an overtime charge, and the agreement transfers if the house sells, which matters in a service area that sees as much rental and move-in traffic as San Antonio, Schertz and New Braunfels do. None of that touches the one estimate rule worth knowing up front: estimates are free on new equipment and sales, not on a service call where a technician is diagnosing a fault on a system that is already installed.

New equipment, whether paid outright or financed through Service Finance Co. LLC's fixed-rate plans covering thermostats, indoor air quality upgrades and zoning as well as the unit itself, carries that same free estimate. The checklist a technician runs on every visit is below, in full.
